Some Magic in the NFL

I never really like it when they introduce players by their colleges, as it just reminds me of how college football programs become the tail that wags the schools.

However, I have to say I liked how it played out last night--one of the players, Greg Hardy, gave his self-appointed nickname (he had named the defensive line after Monster's Inc, so he then had to nickname each player as a distinct monster) and then gave his school: Hogwarts.

Of course, a key difference between football and Quidditch is that it is far more difficult to hide and then deploy a wand in the former.  Which might explain why the defensive line were unable to stop Drew Brees last night.  Nary a Patronus was seen.
