It is amazing how facebook and twitter have exploded. I guess I am such an attention-hound that anything that gets me a smidge more networked/included is addictive to me.
And, so, now my favorite FB feature is the friend-suggesting that happens every few days. The system combs through the friends of my friends and suggests who I should friend. While most of the choices are pretty random, there is occasionally someone listed with whom I would like to be linked. And getting the little box at the top that says someone wants to friend me--well, I find that moment of mystery (who likes me???) to be disturbingly thrilling.
I know, I need to get a life, but electronic Steve has, indeed, taken on a life of his own. Any thoughts?
