Afghan Ditto

Check out Marc Lynch's five questions for those debating what to do in Afghanistan. He is so on target that there is little left to add besides:

• Wouldn't four questions be more apropos? Why is this night different than any other night? The answer in the case of Afghanistan and in his post is--it ain't. This is not a unique moment for a turning point, which is what is so obviously troubling to the Obama folks--that escalation now is not clearly going to win the day.

I am glad that Marc has provided a good cheat sheet since I will be doing the CTV Montreal news program tomorrow and I could just plagiarize from him.
