We now have a solid list of agencies and think tanks funding/involved in research that relates to elections/middle east/Iran, provided by Iran's Ministry of Intelligence--those folks who are blacklisted by the Iranian government (HT to Dan Drezner).
Next time a student asks me about potential employment or funding opps, I will point them towards this list. o be clear, I have only received $$ from Carnegie and the Council on Foreign Relations (as well as perhaps indirectly from Soros via Central European University). I think. Perhaps other indirect money via conferences other folks organized.
