One of the last things I would want to see first thing on a Monday morning is anything that has to do with Pakistan and its nuclear weapons program. Talk about a rude awakening. Not surprising, just rude. Pakistan always has been and always will be more important than Afghanistan. One of the better arguments (not necessarily a good one, but better than others) for sticking around in Afghanistan is the uncertainty about what a pullout would mean for Pakistan.
Just an ugly way to start the week.
