Crowd-Sourcing Syllabi
I am teaching Civil-Military Relations this spring after not teaching it for a couple of years. So, I am looking for anyone who has suggestions for readings or syllabi that might inspire me.
It's not academic, and apparently everyone hates Bob Woodward, but I'll bring up Obama's War again. Although the scope is quite narrow--covers his term up to the troop surge--some passages might be worthy of analysis, or used as example... More than anything, with everything that's happened, reading it makes me wonder how trying the last 18 months must have been behind the scenes

ReplyDeleteNo syllabus for this course, but I do recommend Hugo Slim, KILLING CIVILIANS as a reading for the course.
