According to this post, journals are starting to ask referees to get their reviews back in two weeks. Sure, but only if you want an incredible commitment. I have the same standards for journals as I do for my grad students--give me a month, and I will certainly get the piece and read and provide comments. Give me two weeks, and you cannot expect me to meet the deadline. I am not a genius at planning, so I don't leave time in my schedule just in case articles show up to be reviewed.
We shall see if this becomes a trend/standard, but my guess it will only be the case if they end up wanting to chase away lots of potential reviewers.
