Reasonable Gun Nuts?

A new piece of the Hutaree story is that these guys sought help from the Michigan Militia, which apparently is not as extreme as it used to be.  And the Michigan Militia refused to help. Or at least key members of it.  Just leads me to the following conclusion--America is a strange place.
