I have often joked in class about seal clubbing, but this brief story about the details, well, I might cut back a bit. Who's kidding whom? I will stick with it, mostly because Canadians see themselves in a certain light, but are pretty nationalist when it comes to criticisms of the seal hunt. Paul McCartney became persona non grata for a while for his stance. This is one of those stories I think I regret reading. This is why I don't seek out stories about the mega-farming industry in North America. Ignorance may not be bliss, but it facilitates my diet.
I caught that earlier this week. So, does this mean you have adopted Canadian values and are all about clubbing cute baby seals now.
