Heaps of articles and posts these days marking the anniversary of Obama's election, but he has only been in office for about ten months, so it seems premature to consider his performance thus far. Of course, we can rate him every week or month, but he really was not President in November and December of 2008, even if we wished it to be the case or if it felt like it as Bush was marginalized.
Therefore, I should wait until January 20th or so before rating Obama's first year in office. Indeed, we should know by then his decision on Afghanistan--the most widely watched and anticipated call Obama will be making in his first year in office.
Finally, a legitimate reason to procrastinate.
