Still, I am most pleased that an officer of the US Navy can come off the ship and kiss the person they love, no matter their gender. That is just pretty cool.

Times Are A-Changing
Or not:
This is the first time we have a picture of a serving officer kissing someone of the same gender after arriving back in port. The classic welcome home kiss. But with two females. The wonders produced by the end of the travesty that was "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." However, I do have to be a bit curious--is it a coincidence that the first pic is of two women rather than two men. We have long been more than comfortable seeing two women kiss but not so much two men.
Still, I am most pleased that an officer of the US Navy can come off the ship and kiss the person they love, no matter their gender. That is just pretty cool.
