Basque separatist group, ETA, says they are now engaged in a ceasefire. Well, they broke their previously announced ceasefire, so it is hard to tell if this will stick. The announcement, complete with masks and an old version of Basque used, does not fill one with heaps of assurances. But it bears following. They have had no momentum and have been quite marginal as of late with France taking a more serious effort to arrest those who flee/reside in France.
Perhaps they have realized the limits of their appeal. Or not.
