I am surprised that this did not make the top twenty: silly take on the quest with a kick-ass Natalie Portman?
My top ten would be:
- Harry Potter and the end of the series. As they say: natch!
- Cowboys and Aliens. Interesting combo.
- Green Lantern. Ryan Reynolds and his abs take on non-yellow evil.
- Hangover II ( Bill Clinton is in the credits!) or perhaps Cedar Rapids
- Your Highness (see above link)
- Suckerpunch. Funky.
- X-Men: First Class. Let's see if they can revive the franchise.
- Green Hornet
- Take Me Home Tonight. Token romantic comedy with folks I like (Topher Grace to out-skinny Jay Baruchel?)
- Captain America/Thor--a draw since I really don't know if either one can really work, but am willing to see how it plays out (plus Sam Jackson will appear in each as Nick Fury).
