The Post-Cold War era has not been kind to journalists. We criticize the media all the time (I bash them regularly here), but the reporters out there in the field, whether that is Libya, Sudan, Afghanistan, Moscow, or someplace else, literally put their lives on the line. That we must take seriously and remember on occasion if not always.
