Searching for a Theme Song

Because we are in the final stages before we submit our manuscript, my co-author, Dave Auerswald, and I are contemplating a theme song.  Hell, why not?  The book focuses on the complexities of alliance warfare--how countries manage their participation in multilateral military operations with most of the focus on ISAF and Afghanistan (we have a chapter on Libya). 

Thus far, the nominees via Facebook and Twitter are:

• "Leaving on a Jet Plane" nominated by Stephanie Levitz.
• "He Ain't Heavy" nominated by Tricia Wood.
• "You Can't Always Get What You Want" nominated by Erin Simpson. This happened to be my first thought as well.
• "The Bravery of Being out of Range" nominated by Ora Szekely.
• "Citizen CIA" nominated by Peter Trumbore.  I don't get it either.
• "Land of Confusion" nominated by Alexandre Carette (I prefer the Disturbed edition), who has spent significant time in Afghanistan working for Canada's Foreign Affairs department.
